"After All These Years" was written in late 2009, when we were just getting started. We played it live at our first few shows in the Spring of 2010 and sporadically throughout the next few years. When we played it, however, we played it with guitar as the lead instrument. Unfortunately, recording the guitars for the song never actually panned out. We tried relentlessly, but couldn't capture the same magic on record as we did live. Now as 2012 comes to a close, and we've grown more accustomed to using synths over the years, we've pulled it off the shelf and managed to squeeze something out of it.
